What’s inside

Everything it does, area by area

Eight areas in plain terms. Open one for what you can do and the reports you get.

What you can do

  • Create a production order straight from a customer’s sale order, or for stock, without retyping lines.
  • Combine sale orders from the same customer in one production order.
  • Stop the same sale-order quantity from being planned twice.
  • Set a required date for each order; late orders are flagged on the dashboard.
  • Release only when every line has an approved route and recipe. The order keeps its own copy, so later item changes don’t disturb it.
  • See the required quantity of every material, per department, next to current store stock.

Reports and documents

  • Production Dashboard
  • Production Order with materials per department
  • Store demands per department

What you can do

  • Define how much of each raw material makes one unit, with a waste % for each.
  • Choose the store each material is issued from and the department that consumes it.
  • See the material cost per unit at the latest purchase rates, before you produce.
  • Lock and approve recipes. Only approved recipes can be used in production or on a processing PO.
  • Revise a recipe without losing history: earlier versions stay on file, and existing orders keep their materials.
  • Prevent circular recipes: a material can’t contain the item it is used to make.

Reports and documents

  • Recipe print / preview
  • Previous recipes
  • Cost per unit

What you can do

  • Create store demands for a released order in one click: one per issuing store, per department.
  • Issue material against each demand and allocate it to stock lots.
  • Block issues above the balance still to issue, on screen and on the server, even with two users at once.
  • Send leftover material back to the store with an issuance return.
  • Close an order when nothing more will be made, and re-open it if needed.

Reports and documents

  • Demands per department
  • Store Issuance
  • Issuance Return

What you can do

  • Set each item’s route: the departments it passes through, in order, with a conversion rate (labour and overhead) and allowed loss %.
  • Record good and rejected quantity per department, with entry date and remarks.
  • Stop over-reporting: no department can enter more than it received, or more than its material can make.
  • Receive the last department’s good quantity straight into finished goods, reserved for the customer.
  • Send material to outside processors (dyers, knitters, printers) on a processing PO and get the finished item back at material cost plus processing charge.
  • See what each processor still holds in its Inventory at Third Party balance.

Reports and documents

  • Production Stage Entry
  • Entries with unit cost and loss
  • Processing Receipt
  • Processing PO print for the processor

What you can do

  • Inspect textiles at five stages: knitting, dyeing & finishing, cutting, stitching (inline and end-line) and garment finishing.
  • Score fabric rolls on the 4-point system (per 100 kg or per 100 sq yd) and garment stages by defective %.
  • Grade automatically (A, B, C, REJECT…) from score bands set per buyer, per fabric, or both. A rejectable fault rejects the roll outright.
  • Record each reject reason by fault, with panel, size, operation, operator and bundle where they apply.
  • Inspectors save and submit, supervisors approve. Re-inspect or override a grade with a reason, and keep the full history.
  • For any product, add a QC step to the route; rejected units are recorded per department.

Reports and documents

  • Grade Distribution
  • Fault Pareto by fault, category, machine, operator or operation
  • Lot Summary
  • Work Order Summary
  • Quality sheets and QC registers

What you can do

  • Run every import on an LC number (sight, usance, TT, DP or DA), so each bank charge, insurance, duty, freight and clearing cost lands on that import.
  • Record import POs with Incoterm, ports, country of origin, proforma, HS code and pre-approved alternate items.
  • Track shipments with commercial invoice, B/L or AWB, vessel, ETD / ETA and containers. Substitutes need approval before locking.
  • Book the supplier invoice from the shipment, retire the LC from the bank’s advice, and enter the customs GD with duties from the HS code.
  • Spread every import charge over the goods received with a landed-cost run. Material already issued is re-costed too.
  • Close the LC once Goods in Transit and LC margin are clear, and see every posting in the LC Ledger.

Reports and documents

  • LC Ledger with Excel export
  • Landed-cost sheet per run
  • Costs & Closing by source
  • LC # rows in the trial balance

What you can do

  • Keep each item in the stores that hold it; issues and receipts are checked against that setup.
  • Receive goods on a GRN, with received, accepted and rejected quantities for imports.
  • Allocate every issue to its stock lots.
  • Reserve finished goods for a customer’s sale order. A delivery can’t take stock reserved for someone else.
  • Deliver from the sale order on a delivery challan.
  • Track material held by outside processors, and take back unused raw material at the rate it was issued.

Reports and documents

  • Good Receipt Note
  • Store Issuance
  • Delivery Challan
  • Inventory at Third Party

What you can do

  • Cost each finished unit as: cost from the previous department + material issued to it + its conversion rate.
  • Compare the planned cost (recipe + route) with the actual cost from stage entries.
  • Charge rejected units to Production Loss at the cost reached so far.
  • Value outsourced items at raw material cost plus processing charge; tax applies to the processing amount only.
  • Post every document automatically: work in progress per department, factory overhead applied, finished goods and production loss.
  • Catch vouchers that could not post (a closed month, a missing account) and re-post them once fixed.

Reports and documents

  • Unit cost and value passed on per entry
  • Production JV vouchers
  • Blocked vouchers
  • Work in progress by department

Factory management software that runs production itself: material planning (MRP), bills of materials, work orders, the shop floor, quality, stock and costing, all linked to finance. Accounting software only records the result.

Yes. In-house, your own departments make the item from a Production Order, department by department, and the finished goods are reserved for the customer’s Sale Order. For outside processing, you send raw material to a dyer, knitter or printer on a Processing PO and receive the finished item back at raw material cost plus the processing charge. Both start from the item’s recipe.

Each item has a recipe: the raw materials that make one unit, each with its quantity, waste %, issue store and the department that uses it. Recipes are locked and approved before use, and Revise Recipe creates a new version while keeping the old one. Production orders and processing POs keep a copy of the recipe they were made with.

Every limit is checked by the server as well as the screen, so it holds even when two users work at once. A department can’t record more than it received from the previous one, or more than the material issued to it can make. Stores can’t issue more than the balance still to issue, and a processor’s receipt is limited to what the raw material sent could have made.

The Textile Quality module inspects fabric and garments at knitting, dyeing and finishing, cutting, stitching (inline and end-line) and garment finishing. Fabric rolls are scored on the 4-point system and garment stages by defective %. The grade comes from your grade scheme, which can differ by buyer or fabric. Inspectors save and submit, a supervisor approves, and the approved grade is stamped on the receiving document. Reports include grade distribution, fault Pareto, lot summary and work order summary.

Yes. Each import has an LC number, including TT, DP and DA imports, which collects every cost: LC opening and amendment charges, marine insurance, customs duties from the GD, freight, port, clearing and transport. Once the goods are received, a landed-cost run spreads those charges over the items received and re-costs material already issued. The LC Ledger shows every posting.

Department by department: the cost received from the previous department, plus the material issued to the department, plus its conversion rate (labour and overhead). Rejected units are charged to Production Loss at the cost reached so far. You can compare this actual cost with the planned cost from the recipe and route.

Yes. When the last department records good units, they are received into the finished goods store and reserved for that order’s Sale Order. A delivery to another customer can’t take reserved stock.

Yes. Store issues post to each department’s work-in-progress account. Each stage entry posts its conversion cost, passes good units to the next department and charges rejects to Production Loss, and finished units post to finished goods inventory. If a voucher can’t post, for example because the month isn’t open, the entry is still saved and can be re-posted once fixed.

Rights are given per screen, and nothing is allowed until granted. Separate rights cover stage entry, releasing orders and creating demands, closing and re-opening orders, submitting and approving inspections, approving substitute import items, and closing an LC.

Yes. Tadbir takes live data from machine sensors and energy meters, and works with biometric, RFID and barcode devices. We check your equipment during the factory visit.

It forecasts demand for planning, warns maintenance before a machine fails, spots defects on the line through visual inspection, keeps stock levels right, flags unusual entries for finance, and answers questions about your data.

Yes. FRESME builds Tadbir in-house, so we can add screens and modules for your process. For Yanbu Steel Company we built a custom steel cutting module.

Tadbir ERP is ZATCA Phase 2 compliant and integrated with FATOORA. It runs in the cloud, with an on-premise option. FRESME runs its own servers in Bahrain, so data can stay in the country.

Production and manufacturing ERP in Bahrain

A production ERP is the system that records the materials and labour used in each batch or job and shows cost per product. Bahraini manufacturers and workshops in Sitra, Hidd, Salman Industrial City and Hamad Town produce in small batches, and owners say raw-material purchases are hard to match to what was produced and sold.

  • Small batches, clear costing

Each batch or job has its materials and labour posted, so cost per product is known, not estimated, even when runs are short.

  • Raw material from abroad

Import purchase orders, freight and GCC customs duty are added as landed cost so the real price of imported aluminium, resin or ingredients reaches each batch.

  • Bahrain VAT

VAT on sales and purchases, with the figures for your NBR VAT return from the ledger.

  • Selling into Saudi Arabia

If you ship to Saudi customers, a Saudi company can sit in the same ERP with ZATCA Phase 2 invoices, while the Bahrain company keeps its own books.

How companies here use it

  • A food and beverage producer in Hamad Town

Recipes, batches and stock of ingredients and packaging, with cost per product and per customer.

  • A plastics workshop in Sitra

Job orders with material issued and finished stock, invoiced to trading customers with VAT.

  • An aluminium fabricator in Muharraq or Hidd

Quotes turned into job orders, material and labour posted, and margin per project.

Questions

  • Which ERP is best for a small manufacturer in Bahrain?

Choose one that is bilingual, covers bills of materials, stock and costing, and handles VAT in the same database. Tadbir Production ERP does, and we show it on your own product in a short demo before you commit to anything.

  • Does it handle Bahrain VAT?

Yes. VAT is posted on sales and purchases, and the ledger gives the figures for your NBR VAT return. We set your tax codes up during implementation and check them with your accountant before you issue the first invoice.

  • Can it track imported raw material and duty?

Yes. Import purchase orders record freight and customs duty as landed cost, so the real cost of imported inputs flows into each batch and into your margin by product, instead of staying as a lump in purchases.

  • How much does a production ERP cost in Bahrain?

It depends on modules, users and customization, so there is no fixed price list. After a short call with our Manama team, we send a written quote listing every module and setup item, and we reply within 2 hours.

  • Do you have an office in Bahrain?

Yes, our Bahrain office is in Manama, and we work with companies across the Kingdom. We reply within 2 hours.

  • Where is our data stored?

On FRESME’s own servers in Bahrain, so your data can stay in the country.
